CA course after class 12^th through CPT

• Previously, the CPT (Common Proficiency Test) was the first level of Chartered Accountancy examinations in India. However, it has been superseded by CA Foundation under the ICAI’s updated plan.
• Anyone interested in enrolling in the CA program after completing their 12th grade must take the CPT Exam. The CPT exam is given twice a year, in June and December, and the deadline for submitting the CPT Exam Form is tentatively April/October.
• Candidates must first register for CPT before submitting the CPT Exam form. If an applicant took the class XII exams but the results have not yet been revealed, they can choose the provisional registration option for CPT and will be needed to present the mark-sheets upon clearing the class 12th examinations.
