What started as an idea that was simple to his the business partner of his current, Scott Bartnick, has now grown into a seven-figure media empire in only six months.

Feldman, as well as Bartnick have teamed up with their knowledge in e-commerce, digital marketing, and public relations to create an efficient media agency called Otter Public Relations, which is a company that focuses on assisting founders, authors, and coaches thought leaders. The publicist he hired ended up giving him poor advice, causing the situation to worsen, leading to his leaving his medical residency and his professional career due to a news story that went wrong. At this moment, Dr. Jay Feldman entered a journey of understanding how the media worked and how to establish connections with journalists, manage the aftermath of a crisis in PR and control the online reputation.

In March 2022, Feldman reached out to his former business colleague, Scott Bartnick, with the idea of a new venture. Otter Public Relations was founded that same week. Feldman set to work locating clients for him to try his unique skills in PR. Feldman collaborated with publicists and reporters from across the country to master the game and develop the shaky PR service business that was in place.

The first five employees they hired collaborated with them in their tiny home in downtown Orlando. After proving their value to their clients, like the hotel Le Bijou which went mega-viral in the media, they got more contracts from giant corporations. In the latter half of 2022, Otter PR moved into its first office and began building an empire.

Today. Dr Jay Feldman runs the fastest-growing PR company across the nation, with over 35 employees and two cities. The company’s success and Feldman’s can be traced back to the struggles he endured in his first job, medical. In his interviews, Feldman says, “There is a silver lining to everything. Even though the trail was rocky, I would never trade it for anything.” In addition to managing Otter PR full time, Feldman teaches health courses and develops educational content for social media.
