In recent years, Huawei produced a large number of powerful mid-range tablets that offered excellent value. The Google Play Store is currently devoid of new gadgets due to the trade spat between the United States and China. That did not prevent them from releasing the 200 USD Huawei tablet called the Matepad T10s.
Design
The huawei matepad t10s has a fantastic design. It has a body that is largely made of metal and a tiny piece of plastic for the aerials. I enjoy the hue known as “deepsea blue.” Even though it is not particularly thin (7.85mm), it nevertheless has a much more premium feel than popular Amazon tablets and is roughly on par with an iPad. It measures 450g.
Camera
The webcam is held in a landscape orientation and is situated in an amazing location. This is something progressive brands do, and it works great for video chats. With only 2 megapixels, the resolution is merely drastically reduced. Additionally, the 5-megapixel primary camera is adequate for taking typical pictures. Selfies can now be enjoyed much more.
Display
The 10.1-inch I.P.S. screen display on the Huawei MatePad T10s offers a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It works well as a screen. Although it is darker than the iPad, the broad angles and good counterpoint make up for that. Expectedly, the display screen is laminated. Overall, it is comparable to other low-cost tablets in this price range.
Speakers
Despite the Netflix problem, the MatePad T10s has a lot of promise to be a great media tablet because of its excellent speakers. On each of the shortest sides, we receive a speaker system. The notepad audios sound far better while being priced similarly to tablets from other vendors that offer 4 speakers. The bass is stronger, and it is more enjoyable to listen to. The speakers are good for the price.
Hardware & performance
The Huawei MatePad T10s is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 C.P.U. It is available with 32 Gb or 64 Gb of internal memory and 2 Gb or 3 Gb of RAM.
Software
The notepad T10s features EMUI 10 and Android 10 on its operating system. Android is made more challenging by the personal interface created by Huawei; everything seems a little different, but on the plus side, you can customize it more.
Battery life
The battery lasts 5.25 hours when playing an HD video on YouTube while set to the highest brightness level. We usually use the main YouTube app, but I had to use YouTube Vanced because it doesn’t work here. I’m not sure if that otherwise affects battery life.
Verdict
So, do you need to look for the Huawei MatePad T10s? The hardware is flawless. For this price, the construction quality is excellent, particularly the speaker systems. Additionally, the 10-inch tablet’s functionality and screen are what you would expect from an Android smartphone or tablet in that price range.
The Huawei MatePad T10s is an excellent tablet for students on a tight budget or blue-collar workers. With Huawei AppGallery, it can do all of your usual business and enjoyment tasks for the price.
The large 10.1-inch screen offers you a larger workspace, and all of your information can be organized and safely stored on the cloud. That flies in the face of the old-fashioned pen and paper. However, the MatePad T10s does support Huawei’s M-Pencil if you do miss taking notes with a pencil.
