On top of Android Oreo, a custom UI by Huawei named EMUI will be provided for better user experience and performance enhancement. It will be a dual SIM device and will support nano-sized GSM type SIMs only. The SIM slot on this device will be a hybrid one. Moreover, the device will support all the networks available in India. A fingerprint sensor is provided for better security. Nowadays charging has become cumbersome hence the device will also support quick charging.
Design and Display
Huawei Honor V10 has the dimensions 157 x 74.9 x 6.9 mm. This device will weigh 172 grams which is slightly more as compared to other devices in competition. Notably, this device is manufactured all in Aluminium on both front and rear. There will be four colour variants of this handset namely, Black, Gold, Red and Aurora Blue. The display on this handset will be 5.99 inches large. The display will have a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. To improve the display, the pixel density on Honor V10 is set to 403 pixels per inch. It will be an IPS LCD type display to ensure that the images or videos do not have glare when viewed from any angle. Huawei’s Honor V10 will perform on HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor which is a patented one for Huawei devices. It is an octa-core processor constituting a Cortex A73 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.36GHz and a Cortex A53 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. Additionally, the device has an i7 co-processor to perform tasks like counting steps or voice recognition. A co-processor helps in enhancing the battery life. These processors are the 64bit type; higher bits mean fast performance. The high-end graphics and video resolutions on this device will be handled by Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. A GPU can share the load on a processor and in turn, can preserve battery. This device will be backed by 6GB RAM resulting in fast performance and efficient multi-tasking. The device will arrive with an internal memory of 128GB, yet a user can also expand the memory using a memory card up to 256GB.

The device is enabled with cameras on either side, i.e. front and rear. The rear camera is referred as a primary camera. It is a dual lens 16MP+20MP shooter enabled with BIS and CMOS sensors. The device supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and will capture images with aperture f1.8. However, it is a disappointing fact that the device will not support Optical Image Stabilization. There is an LED flash provided on the rear side to capture images in better quality during low light conditions. The front camera on this device is a 13MP shooter with an aperture of f2.0. It can capture videos in full HD resolution at 30fps. As mentioned earlier Huawei Honor V10 is a dual SIM device. It will support only nano-sized SIMs in a hybrid slot. The supported networks on this device are 4G (Indian Bands), 3G and 2G.VoLTE feature is provided for enhanced calling experience. Wi-Fi is provided to access the internet wirelessly. Approved Wi-Fi standards on this device are 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n clocked at 5GHz. Bluetooth v4.2 on this device can be used to connect with media devices. Navigation purposes can be fulfilled by using inbuilt GPS. NFC on this device will come handy for some day-to-day handset related tasks. Huawei Honor V10 price in India expected to be around 40,000 INR. Well with some amazing features provided this device is surely going to be bang for the bucks. It is a device that one can count in the premium segment. However, there are branded devices in this segment against which to sustain is difficult for this device. As the device is provided with some of the wonderful features, the price can be justified. As per the experts, the success of this model is not a question as the device is excellent, but the sustenance of the same can be a doubt.
