Building self confidence in children-How nursing can help

Building self confidence

It is a natural requirement of every child to feel confident on in social interaction or other than that as well. Sometimes its parents who want to see their children as much confident as possible. Sometimes children want to boost their confidence but they do not know how to do so. It is important to know that confidence in children can be boosted with the help of parents as well as nursing help DP too. Confident children are happier and they have ability to meet challenges of life without fear. A confident child can go a long way in terms of battling his or her fights. Also, it is one of the factors behind spending contented life.

Ways to boost confidence of children

There are certain factors on which the confidence of a child depends as per the British assignment help. Nursing can play a huge role in allowing children to think that they have abilities that can make them confident. For that reason children must be allowed to feel that they are loved. Trust on children must be expressed. When a child is given the idea that we are confident about him, that we trust him/her that child is likely to succeed. The reason is that it allows a spark of confidence in the children. For instance, your parents or siblings show that they have trust on you. They trust you with something like keeping money safe. Then what will happen? The confidence of children will boost and they will be confident more than ever regarding keeping the money safe. If you will treat children like I know you are going to lose this money. It may turn out to be true because of the fearful mind of a child to lose the money.

Communicating self worth

Children must be allowed to learn about their self worth. They cannot do so alone but with the help of parents or nursing can play an important role as well. Two ways can be utilised to make children learn their self worth. These ways are verbal and non verbal because sometimes you have to tell them that they are worthy. Some of the times actions speak louder than words and non verbally must be communicated with them to learn their self worth. In the custom assignment writing service the much focus is given to the non verbal communication. The reason behind using non verbal way to allow children learn their self worth is because sometimes you have to show it. It is important to show children to assure them they can build confidence instead of just telling them. After all, things that are practically practiced are worth more than just said words.

Spending time with children

It is not to say that nursing role always have to be about quoting something to children. They do not need to just make children learn about their self worth to build confidence. Instead, this can also be done by increasing the interaction time with children as well. There must be increased interaction or spending time with children (De Bono, 2017). Let’s understand this by quoting an example. Suppose, you are spending time with children what you expect to do to build confidence in them? Would you just talk them through how to build what to build and why to build it in them? Or you just find various techniques to push them in the right direction? I guess the answer is in your mind and it is to spend time and push children in right direction.

Building confidence through gaming

Is a common practice seen in children that they fear playing some games while at some games children are very active or you can say pro of these games. How can you make a children learn to be confident about the game he or she fears to play? In this kind of practice it involves the effort of both verbal and non verbal communication. Verbally you will tell children about rules and how to play the game. Also, you may want to boost their morale by saying some enthusiastic words like, you can do it, I know you can. You have the ability to play this game just focus on it so on and so forth. On the other hand, you can simply play with children and make them learn tricks implicitly. This combination works most of the times. This combination of verbal and non verbal techniques to boost confidence in children must be used by parents or in nursing practices (Geldard, Geldard and Foo, 2017). The result of these practices can certainly help in making children confident and aware of self worthiness.

Focusing on who you are instead of what you do

This mantra of focusing on who you are instead of what you do is the secret to boost confidence in children. Often children are praised when they acquire good grades or show come kind of achievement and talent. Why they must be encouraged to acknowledge upon something like this? It is important to ask yourself that why don’t you praise your children for who they are or for their character or traits? Pointing out this question is a good start towards building confidence in children. This is the beginning of the entire process. It allows you to learn how to deal every child because every child is different in their character, traits or talents. Therefore, they cannot be treated on a same scale. Some children have behavioral problem the focus on the problem instead of criticising children. This kind of behavior can be resolved by communication there is no need to treat this behavior with punishment (Hamdanah, Surawan and Rizki, 2022). The important things to note here is that praising children is the key behind bringing out positive side of children. It is the ultimate way of making the disturbed behavior of children disciplined one.
