How to Get Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Certificate

The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) is the state agency that issues environmental clearance to constructions and industrial projects in Maharashtra. It also issues environmental clearance for the rehabilitation of industries that have been shut down.

The MPCB conducts inspections on a random basis to ensure that there are no violations against the environment clearance. If there are any violations, the project will not allow to be completed and those responsible will be penalized accordingly.

How To Get Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Certificate?

  1. Go to www.mpcb.gov.in and fill up an online application form for getting an environmental clearance on your project site or factory premises by clicking here.
  2. Provide all necessary documents like site plan, a brief description of the project, floor plan, photographs, etc., along with other required details in your application form according to guidelines mentioned on their website.
  3. Submit all documents at least 15 days before starting any construction activity on your construction site or factory premises as per rules laid down by MPCB

CONSENT TO ESTABLISH PROCEDURE To NOC:

  • The applicant registers on http://www.ecmpcb.in/, an online site.
  • At any point during in the application process, applicants are not need to go to any of the MPCB offices. As part of the registration process, the online system provides the functionality of one-time mobile verification for the applicant and one-time online document verification by the Department.

The application is carefully examined by the field officer, who also makes recommendations and submits a visit report to the sub-regional officer after visiting the industry (for the establishment and first operate).
